About Us

I’m Manjula,

A seasoned Customer Care Executive with over a decade of experience at one of Sri Lanka’s
leading companies. My professional journey has been enriched by international training in
Japan, where I gained valuable insights into world-class customer service and cross-cultural
communication.
Beyond the office, I’m driven by a passion for adventure and the outdoors. I’m an avid kayaker,
cyclist, camper, music enthusiast, and writer — regularly documenting my journeys as a blogger.
I’m also a certified PADI diver and trained lifesaver, combining my love for nature with a strong
commitment to safety and exploration.

Some of my most unforgettable adventures include:

  •  Cycling around the island of Sri Lanka — not once, but twice
  •  Long-distance solo rides, including Colombo to Jaffna (380 km) and Colombo to
    Polonnaruwa (200 km — twice)
  •  Kayaking 72 km along the Mahaweli River, Sri Lanka’s longest waterway, from
    Mahiyanganaya to Manampitiya
  •  Paddling from Ratnapura to Kalutara via the scenic Kalu Ganga River
  •  Rowing 50 km from Hakbellawake to Pugoda along the Kelani River

I believe in living life with purpose — embracing challenges, pushing limits, and inspiring others
to explore both the world around them and the strength within themselves.

I’m Pasindu

A dedicated professional with a diverse journey across corporate, financial, and hospitality sectors.

I began my career in 2011 in the corporate world, honing my analytical skills as a Financial
Analyst at RR Donnelley (a Fortune 500 company), and sharpening supply chain acumen as a
Development Merchandiser at MAS Holdings. In 2015, I embraced my passion for wildlife and
hospitality, embarking on a transformative decade-long adventure across Sri Lanka’s top
boutique lodges and international resorts, including Leopard Safari Camp, Wild Coast Tented
Lodge, Water Garden Sigiriya, and Hilton Yala Resort.

Fueled by this calling, I pursued intensive wildlife and nature-based training in South Africa and
earned prestigious certifications:

  •  Field Guides Association of Southern Africa (FGASA) membership
  •  CyberTracker Level III (Tracks & Signs) — South Africa & Sri Lanka
  •  CyberTracker Level I Trailing Certificate — South Africa
  •  Snake Handling & Awareness Training — South Africa
  • First Aid Levels I & II

In 2012, my co-founder and I conceived Teepee the Campsite — a passion-driven project that
merges our deep hospitality roots with wildlife expertise to craft unforgettable, natureimmersive guest experiences.
